Dan Cederholm is an award-winning Web designer and author living in Salem, Massachusetts. As founder of SimpleBits, a design and development consulting firm, Dan brings years of experience in designing and building sites with Web standards. A recognized expert in the field, he regularly speaks at conferences and advises corporations on adopting a standards-based approach to Web design.

Dan is the author of the successful book Web Standards Solutions as well as many articles on standards-based design for publications such as A List Apart. Dan also runs the popular weblog called SimpleBits, where he writes articles and commentary on the Web, technology, and life in general.
